I thought the Customs House [truly a building of international significance] had been destroyed in the blitz and I was shocked to discover it had survived relatively intact but demolished by the Council afterwards. While Liverpool is a delightful city to visit , there's a feeling of what might have been if those in power had made wiser decisions. I now know it was The Customs House. Its a massive shame if it didn't really need demolishing.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
